1 lb ground beef
1 egg
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1/4 medium onion, chopped
1/8 cup grated parmeson cheese
1/2 tspn fennel seed
1/4 tspn basil
1/4 tspn oregano
1/2 cup seasoned Italian breadcrumbs
2 tblspn extra virgin olive oil
1 26 oz jar pasta sauce (Hunt's garlic and herb (my favorate))


Empty jar of pasta sauce in a sauce pan and begin to heat, add olive oil (optional, add two cloves garlic whole, 4 bay leaves (a little more flavor)). Mix all other ingredents in a mixing bowl until well blended. Add additional bread crumbs as necessary until mixture is fairly dry. Roll mixture into about 8 to 10 balls. Drop into hot pasta sauce. Simmer for 2 hours
